That verse is not a line we wrote for Rise Music Festival. It sits on the coat of arms of the Cayman Islands, and their constitution commits the nation to Christian values and the protection of the family.
Which is why it works as the place you take your people. Faith and family are not the theme of the week. They are the character of the country hosting it.
Donor and alumni activation
Hillsdale already knows how to take supporters somewhere and put a serious speaker in front of them. The programs work, and they work on the people at the top of the file. Rise Cayman is built for everyone underneath them.
The activation gap
Four groups sit inside Hillsdale's world. Only one of them reliably shows up to a campus seminar or a hotel ballroom. All four would come to this.
A seminar asks a supporter to give you two days. This asks a family to take a trip they already wanted, and hands them the College while they are there.
The point of the week
Advancement does not raise money for a college in the abstract. It raises money for things. Rise gives each of those things a moment, in front of the people most likely to fund it. Open any one to see what that looks like.
Why here
You are not asking supporters to travel somewhere that contradicts what the College teaches them. The country already holds the same three things.

Spring donor calendars are built in the fall. To sit inside the 2027 cycle, this needs a decision within about 14 months.
The experience
Your donors travel with spouses and grandchildren. A week that only works for the donor is a week half of them decline. This one is designed so the whole household says yes.
A private Hillsdale welcome before the gathering opens. Early arrivals can take the Sister Islands, which run quieter and slower than Grand Cayman.
The Hillsdale track. Your faculty, your speakers, your initiatives, taped for Imprimis and the podcast network.
Open water and family time. This is the part that gets the spouse on the plane and the part the grandchildren remember.
The main stage, with the full gathering in one room. Your people sit inside the most influential assembly of faith-forward media in the world.
The holiday sits inside the week, not beside it. A Douglass reading, and a Hillsdale lecture delivered on the day itself. That is the piece an alumnus repeats when he gets home, and the reason he answers the next call from advancement.
None of this is set in stone. The schedule can be adjusted, and we build the week around what Hillsdale needs it to do.
The second audience
Seminars and cruises reach the supporters who already give at the top. A destination week reaches the ones coming up behind them, at the age when giving habits form.
Hold seats by class year and let reunions move. A tenth or twentieth reunion held somewhere people want to be brings a different attendance number, and a different conversation afterward.
The graduates who love the College but have never come to anything. Grand Cayman in May is the reason they finally do, and the first ask lands warm.
Graduates in film, publishing, and broadcast get a working track, plus a professional reason to reconnect that has nothing to do with a donation letter.

Every issue of Imprimis begins as a speech given at a Hillsdale event. The College already knows how this works. Rise supplies a bigger room and an audience it cannot assemble alone.

The founding position · Education and ideas
We are not auctioning a category. We want colleges here in numbers, and the education track is meant to fill. Hillsdale goes first, and helps set what the schools after it walk into.
The team and the structure
Caymanian status, multi-generational family roots on the island, and active business operations there. Rise is led from Cayman, not imported into it.
Echo Concerts, Nashville. Carries stage production, artist operations, and the touring relationships that fill a main stage.
Williams Productions, Grand Cayman. Runs local production, permitting, vendors, and the ground operation across the week.
What we are asking for
Advancement and marketing in the same room for sixty minutes. We walk the file, the initiatives, and the seat block together.
A block reserved under Hillsdale's name. No money attached, and no obligation until the numbers are agreed.
A single lecture, a taped session, or one initiative given a room. Something small enough to say yes to now.
